This course covers how to program a safe and effective reformer strength classes. Learn how to stabilize movement for strength, progress and modify exercise, and how to apply athletic techniques to your reformer classes. Discuss the importance of inclusivity, how to properly cue for non-Pilates students, and propping for the tall and larger students. Take the time to learn Sean’s four athletic program formats, program-a-class, and learn how to apply the Pilates principles to an athletic reformer class.
This online course is recognized with 6 continuing education credits according to the guidelines set forth by the National Certified Pilates Teacher Program, formerly the Pilates Method Alliance. All attendees must participate in the Q&A segments to receive their certification. The chat function allows you to interact with Sean. This will offer you the opportunity to ask questions and comments. Sean will address as many questions and comments as possible.
